Host of the Grief Gang podcast, Amber Jeffrey, speaks with Julia Samuel MBE about all things grief! As an intensely individual experience no two people will ever grieve in the same way.
Grief is an adaptive process that we will all go through. There is no crash course, everyone feels their way through it. How do you know if you’re doing it right? Is there a ‘right’ way, anyway? At what stage does grief become complicated or prolonged?
Julia will bust some classic myths surrounding grief and will seek to enlighten us in the process, drawing on her vast personal and professional experience in this field. She’ll explore ways in which people express their feelings following a loss; the lasting impact that grief can have; and how we can potentially learn to grieve ‘well’.
Amber hosts The Grief Gang podcast and Julia is a counsellor, psychotherapist and author. For more about each speaker including links, see below.
