Finding a Way Forward That Honours Our Loss (Grief Academy 7 – Webinar)
About the event
In this session, we will reflect on what we have learned over the previous six weeks and which strategies or techniques seem best for us right now. We will explore key skills that can help us support ourselves and overcome blocks in the grieving process, considering how emotions like guilt, anger and self-blame might impact our grief.
We will think about how to set boundaries that keep us safe, and also ways to develop our resilience. Finally we will explore a variety of practical and creative ways we can celebrate and connect to those who have died, exploring how we can survive, and even thrive, through life’s inevitable highs and lows.
In this session we will explore:
- What is the role of guilt, anger and self-blame in the grieving process?
- How can we show self-compassion, tune into our needs and be kind to ourselves?
- How do we set boundaries when we are grieving?
- How can we stay connected to the person who has died whilst allowing other relationships to grow?
This event is part of our Grief Academy course: When Grief is Complicated which will be running in February and March 2025 on the platform Teachable.
