HOW TO HAVE LIFE CHANGING CONVERSATIONS…ABOUT THE END OF LIFE
About the event
Death, like birth, is one of the few universally shared experiences, yet many of us are scared to face mortality and talk to our loved ones about it. As a result, very few people discuss with friends and family the care they’d like to receive if they got seriously ill or their funeral wishes – sometimes for fear of how the people close to them might react.
In this session, join author and palliative medicine doctor Dr Kathryn Mannix and psychotherapist and author Julia Samuel MBE in a conversation about these tender conversations, their impact within families, and how we might overcome any challenges we encounter – whether we want to talk about this topic or are struggling with it.
This live online event includes time for questions and is held as a limited-capacity Zoom webinar. Registrants receive Zoom joining details 24 hours and 1 hour before the event.
The discussion will be recorded and made available on our YouTube channel after the event.
