About the event
Grief has a profound impact on the body. Neuroscientists talk about it as ‘the body remembers the body holds the score’ meaning the whole experience of grief is held in your body and influences what you think, how you feel and the decisions you make.
In this session, Julia will look at the importance of establishing a regime that helps to regulate your body, winding down that sense of hyper alertness, and building up your emotional resilience.
In this session Julia will cover:
- How the mind and body are interconnected and how they affect each other
- Ways to develop good habits for our mind and body
- Why exercise matters for our mental and physical health
