Beth Calverley

Beth Calverley is a portrait poet, creative coach and founder of The Poetry Machine. She co-creates poems in conversation with community members on her vintage typewriter, helping them to express their thoughts and feelings through creativity.

Her group poetry workshops are playful and supportive, giving participants of all ages the confidence to experiment with words.

Beth works with charities, companies, hospitals, universities, schools, heritage sites and festivals nationally. She is Poet in Residence at UH Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, based at South Bristol Community Hospital.

Beth’s debut collection will be launched in November 2020.
