Dr Andrew Blades

Dr Andrew Blades is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at the University of Bristol. His primary research is in the medical humanities, particularly in the literature of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. More recently he has been working on a project about cultural representations and understandings of hoarding and its relationship to complex grief. He is the author of 20th Century American Literature (Longman, 2011) and Poetry and the Dictionary (Liverpool University Press, 2020).
