Dr John MacArtney is a Marie Curie Associate Professor based in the Unit of Academic Primary Care, at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick. He is a sociologist of dying and palliative care and his research seeks to further our knowledge of dying and end-of-life care by contextualising it within wider understandings of society.
John was the Chief Investigator on the UKRI Economic and Social Research Council funded ‘Impact of Covid-19 pandemic on Hospices’ study.
