Dr Lisa Graham-Wisener is a Lecturer in Health Psychology in the Centre for Improving Health-Related Quality of Life, School of Psychology, Queen’s University Belfast. Lisa’s research expertise is as a chartered psychologist with an interest in understanding how to best support psychological wellbeing and quality of life in advanced illness, and public health approaches to palliative and end of life care. Lisa’s recent research has focused on understanding public perceptions to death and dying in Northern Ireland and the UK, and validating a new measure of death literacy (originally developed in Australia) for use in the UK context which she will discuss at the conference.
