Lynn is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Liverpool Management School. Her research focuses on the ways services are designed, spotlighting how vulnerable and marginalised consumers face difficulties in access to and use of services, particularly in health. For the last decade she has conducted extensive research into palliative and end of life care, collaborating with multiple hospices and NHS palliative care services. She has won a number of research grants in this area, published several international journal papers, been invited to speak at academic and practitioner conferences, and her work has impacted Government via evidence at the APPG on Hospice and Palliative Care in 2018, and more recently when her research into the lived experiences of COVID-19 bereavement was used in Cabinet Questions.
