Morven Hamilton
Morven Hamilton is a senior yoga teacher and teacher trainer, who is well aware of the ways that yoga can radically transform people’s lives. Her sessions are informed by mindfulness and varied contemporary approaches to the body and movement.
Morven has over two decades of experience of teaching and group facilitation, having previously worked as a language and music teacher and university lecturer. Her approach is playful, creative and meditative, informed by her own transformative experience of yoga. Thanks to her regular practice, yoga has helped Morven to overcome anxiety, depression and, recently, the effects of breast cancer. She teaches with humour and a strong intention to demystify yoga, making it inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Morven has worked extensively with people seeking the therapeutic benefits of yoga, including those suffering from anxiety, stress, insomnia and depression, CFS, COPD and cancer, and those recovering from injury. She is a trained Yoga for Menopause teacher and runs the online Teach Yoga for Cancer programme.
