Patience Kunonga is a Research Assistant for the Evidence Synthesis Group in the Population Health Sciences Institute. She is also one of the core team members delivering outputs for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Older People and Frailty Policy Research Unit (OPF PRU).
Prior to her OPF PRU role, she supported the delivery of the NIHR Innovation Observatory. Her research interests include social care, public health and evidence synthesis and she is currently working towards a PhD to develop a bespoke framework for the incorporation of assessments of health inequalities and/or inequities within evidence synthesis.
Patience has co-authored peer-reviewed articles in top medical journals such as the British Medical Journal, Journal of the American Medical Directors Association, Journal of Medical Internet Research and Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews.
