Sabine Best

Dr Sabine Best is Head of Research at Marie Curie, the largest charitable funder of palliative and end of life care research in the UK. She oversees Marie Curie’s portfolio of internal and external research activities from the identification of research priorities to disseminating results. As part of her work at Marie Curie, she initiated the Palliative and end of life care Priority Setting Partnership with the James Lind Alliance. She oversees the funding of a variety of research aimed at improving the end of life experience of people living with terminal illness and their carers, families and friends.
