Facilitator Stuart Wright

Stuart Wright has worked in the health and social care industry for more than 30 years. He started his journey working with people with learning disabilities and behavioural issues before specialising in dementia care. Stuart has implemented and developed the Human Rights frameworks and standard for people living with dementia. He hosts regular talks about dementia at Brunelcare.

Brunelcare is an award-winning Bristol based charity (est. 1941) providing high quality housing, care and support for older people in the South West. Today, across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Somerset, Brunelcare supports people to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible. Care is provided in people’s own homes, in specialist care homes, in a reablement facility and through its day-centre based in Lawrence Weston. Housing is provided by 1,000 properties, across 31 sites, three extra care housing sites and a retirement village. Brunelcare employs a dedicated team of 1,100 people.
