Doodles + Chat With Gary Andrews
We’re thrilled to announce that our dear friend Gary Andrews will be hosting a series of free virtual events with Good Grief exploring how drawing can help us to work through grief.
Each ‘Doodles + Chat’ webinar is a little lesson in self-counselling through art, with a different focus each session:
1. The Grief Demon: Personifying the Feelings of Grief – Wednesday, March 10th 19:00-20:00
2. Memory in Grief: Acknowledging the Person who has Died – Wednesday, April 7th 19:00-20:00
3. Humour in Grief: Finding the Funny Side of Life – Wednesday, April 28th 19:00-20:00
4. Contemplation in Grief: Looking Back, Looking Forward – Wednesday, May 19th 19:00-20:00
All ages and drawing abilities are very welcome as you seek to find expression, beauty and humour through creating cartoons or a visual diary. You’ll need pens or pencils and paper at the ready and attendees will have the opportunity to ask Gary questions during this session.
There are limited spaces so we recommend signing up quickly. To find out more and book your space head above.
If you’re not able to make the live event, don’t worry. All of Gary’s sessions will be recorded and added to The Grief Channel to view on demand along with all of our Good Grief Festival content.
