Good Grief Returns 27-28 March!
We are thrilled to announce that Good Grief Festival will return to your screens on March 27th and 28th with a packed programme of 50 virtual events and 70+ speakers. All events will be free to attend over the weekend, and available to watch on-demand after the festival on the Grief Channel.
We are also very proud to be working with end of life charity Marie Curie to host a series of virtual events for the National Day of Reflection on March 23rd, which Marie Curie is spearheading to mark one year since the first UK Covid-19 lockdown. Marie Curie will also be sponsoring a number of events at Good Grief Festival.
Good Grief will host 50 events in total, over the Day of Reflection and Good Grief Festival, including panel talks, interviews and conversations. Working with the themes of ‘hope and meaning’, Good Grief will explore the universal human experience of grief at a time when the UK is mourning over 100,000 lives lost to Covid-19.
We’ll be joined by new and familiar faces to Good Grief, including Michael Rosen, Guvna B, Julia Samuel (This Too Shall Pass, Grief Works), best-selling authors Nikesh Shukla (The Good Immigrant, Brown Baby) and Katherine May (Wintering), Catherine Mayer and Anne Mayer Bird (Good Grief: Embracing life at a time of death), palliative care doctors Rachel Clarke (Dear Life: A Doctor’s Story of Love and Loss, Breathtaking) and Kathryn Mannix (With the End in Mind), illustrator Gary Andrews (Doodle-A-Day/Finding Joy) and Stuart Lawrence, younger brother of Stephen Lawrence and author of Silence is not an Option.
We’ll be announcing our full programme on March 2nd. In the meantime, you’ll find a little taste of what’s to come on our What’s On page.
If you can’t imagine how you’ll fit so much into three days, never fear!? For just £20 per year you can access all events from Good Grief Festival and the Day of Reflection, along with 60+ hours of events from past Good Grief Festivals. Find out more here.
Make sure you pre-register now and we’ll let you know when tickets are available.
