National Grief Awareness Week

Date: 3rd Dec 2020

We are delighted to be supporting the Good Grief Trust’s National Grief Awareness Week (Dec 2-8). We will be participating in their #ShareYourStory campaign by releasing a number of recorded events from Good Grief Festival, highlighting each pillar of the campaign.

Thursday 3rd – Covid Deaths (Grieving During Covid-19; The Covid Cataclysm: How Do We Grieve for ‘Normal’?)

Friday 4th – Supporting Children + Young Adults (Grief School: Childhood Bereavement; Grief Chat: Growing Up with Grief; Grief Chat: Cancer)

Saturday 5th – Men’s Grief Day (Grief Chat: Making Space for Men to Grieve; Grief Chat: Sands FC)

Sunday 6th – Diversity + Inclusion (Grieving for Justice; Grief School: Muslim Grief and Bereavement)

Monday 7th – Bereaved Parents Day (Grief School: The Death of a Child; Grief Chat: Jane + Gill; Grief Chat: Alison + Rachel; Grief School: Stillbirth)

Tuesday 8th – Day of Hope (The Grief Gift: Finding Meaning After Loss; Finding Joy with Gary Andrews; Julia Samuel: Coping with Crisis; The Art of Pilgrimage: Going Back to Move Forward)

We will publish these videos each day and they will be available to watch until December 15th.
